We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud and Infrastructure Architect to join a growing team. As a Cloud and Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud and IT infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems, driving innovation and best practices in cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud and infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Lead the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, leveraging providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place and regularly tested.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure performance.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all infrastructure components.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for adoption and integration.
Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on Azure.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage solutions.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
