Application Engineer – Remote
Rate – $50 - $65
Opportunity to support the implementation of technology initiatives within large-scale, complex projects.
The Role:
• Support the development and improvement of vendor-based technology.
• Be at the forefront of implementing, upgrading and supporting vendor supplied applications.
• Diagnose technical incidents and support until issue has been resolved with root cause found.
• Attend technical review meetings internally that cover all aspects of implementation of the technologies.
• Ensure the team maintains up to date technical documentation and assist in providing guidance on how to follow industry best practices.
• Ensure regular health checks are completed while overseeing operations of multiple vendor-based applications.
• Develop automated approaches for repeatable workflows.
Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience within implementation of large-scale applications/platforms.
• 5+ years' experience in engineering.
• Background of developing solutions using Azure, VS Code, C# .Net, Javascript, Azure DevOps.
• Previously worked on Cloud Infrastructure Migration, preferably using Azure Architecture.
• Previous experience with SQL Database maintenance.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Azure Power Apps, Office 365)
• Some experience with Legal Vendor applications (Legal55, BigHand, iManage, Aderant, Workday, or Similar) (preferred).
• Good understanding of database principles.
• Previous Experience with APIs and data feeds.
• Able to respond to critical issues outside standard office hours.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar (preferred).
• Strong Communication skills.
