I am looking for an IT Manager to take ownership of an IT department for a boutique law firm based in the heart of NYC. I am looking for a strategic, out-of-the-box thinker who has a passion for managing complex, fast-paced environments. You will take ownership of the entire environment, including their server, network, security, and storage infrastructure, as well as manage the day-to-day operations. You will have a seat at the table when making crucial decisions for the environment, managing vendor relationships, and looking for ways to continuously improve their environment.
What will the job involve?
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the environment.
- Collaborate with end-users, senior stakeholders & vendors.
- Design, implement & maintain the security, storage, server, & network infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and documentation for the IT department.
What do you need?
- MUST have worked in a law firm / legal industry.
- Knowledge of virtualization using Hyper-V & VMware.
- Knowledge & understanding of Cisco networking, VPN & firewalls.
- Experience working in an MS shop, including AD, Azure, O365 & Exchange.
- Experience working in a leadership role, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
